Activity Description

Travel to Bosnia and Herzegovina with this fantastic one day tour thanks to which you will have the opportunity to visit beautiful places brimming in history

Highlights
- Visit the beautiful walled town of Počitelj and see the Ottoman architecture
- Explore one of the sites of Christian pilgrimage: Medjugorje
- Cross the historic Old Bridge, the symbol of Mostar

After being picked at your hotel, you will head towards the Dubrovnik bridge, one of the most impressive suspension bridges in the world. Here you will take a moment to enjoy the spectacular views of the Adriatic Sea and take some incredible photos of the city skyline.

Once you have crossed the border, there will be a break in Neum, the only coastal city of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Enjoy some free time to have a coffee or browse the shops before continuing the route to Počitelj, a must-see for anyone visiting the country. This picturesque enclave, located in the valley of the Neretva River and built on the slopes of a rocky hill, retains its charm as a fortified city along with the remnants of the Ottoman rule. Stroll through its streets and admire its main monuments with your guide, who will tell you some interesting stories about the past of a town of great strategic importance.

The next stop will find you in Medjugorje, a spiritual and religious town attended by thousands of Catholic pilgrims from all over the world each year, attracted due to the apparition of Our Lady of Peace in 1981. Learn about the history and culture of the town before proceeding to Mostar. Known as the town where the East meets the West, it has a variety of mixed cultures and historical sites including the most famous Old Bridge. The Old Bridge is the symbol of Mostar and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2004, as well as the Old Town. In the center of the old Ottoman town, you can admire one of the oldest parts of Mostar, the Kujundziluk, walk along a small, pretty, cobbled street, dating back to the middle of the 16th century, with typical craft shops and traditional restaurants.

You can visit the main tourist sights, taste the local cuisine, buy original souvenirs and drink Turkish coffee or simply enjoy the atmosphere. And the atmosphere is special, just as the light.
