Shoping experience in our day centre! 03/04/2018

Being independent is a lengthy process that requires much effort and commitment. At the Youth Club, our loving volunteers, Liliana and Corina, put each week a brick in the independent life of young people with disabilities.

Once they learned what food is important to have daily, what's for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the value of money, and how much each food costs, the youngsters went shopping! They identified the products on the districts, analyzed the prices, picked the fruit and vegetables and weighed them, calculated the price, made sure they were in the budget and filled the bags. Back to our centres, they prepared their breakfast and savoured it!

Thanks again to our volunteers for the patience, involvement and time in this program!
